Delivering the value and promise of great design.

About us

DELIVERING THE VALUE AND PROMISE OF GREAT DESIGN It’s the idea that got us into business. And thirty five years later, it is the reason why our architects and interior designers continue to thrive today. Well-designed projects that are responsive to programs and sensitive to budget constraints make up our portfolio of healthcare, high tech, office, educational, mixed use, retail, industrial and warehouse clients. Our culture embodies collaboration, work-life balance and sustainability. We shape the built environment our children learn in, the LEED Certified buildings we work in and the institutions that keep our communities healthy. Public or private, delivering the highest service is our priority. On-budget. On-time. Since 1981.

Manager of Construction and Planning for Rapid City Area Schools

We're pleased to share that the construction of the new South Middle School is nearly complete. This 151,000 SF facility, built on the same site as the original 1959 building, represents a significant investment in our district's infrastructure, with a total cost of around $65 million. The new school will be ready for students later this month, offering a modern and functional space for education. This project marks an important step forward for Rapid City Area Schools, as we continue to enhance our facilities to better serve our community. Thanks to everyone involved in this project for their hard work and dedication. We look forward to opening the doors and welcoming students to their new school soon. A huge congratulatory whorrah to our team member, Barbara, for achieving her architectural license! The CU graduate came to MOA in 2019 with experience in restaurant design (Sunday Vinyl, The Post) as well as high end hospitality and commercial work. Her latest project, The Sporty Pickle showcases her experience and strength within the industry. Barbara continues to break the norm when it comes to restaurant design – we can’t wait to show you what’s in store!

The new site for the Casper-Natrona County Health Department broke ground this month! The previously vacant lot sits at 35,000 SF. MOA, having a longstanding relationship with the county, test fitted numerous properties to make sure the location was prime for the client. The building will not only house administrative offices but will also host a maternal and child department, a rapid response clinic and a drive thru clinic. This community supported project is focused around disease prevention supporting patients of all ranges.

Meet Mary, one of our amazing team members! With years of experience in architecture, she recently tackled her first project proposal interview at the Wyoming State Capitol—how cool is that? Her top tip for first-time interviewees: 'Only speak to what you know really well.' Wise words from a pro!
