Your people can transform into better versions of themselves in life and at work—but it takes human-to-human guidance. "Part of my calling to do this work is really caring about people—even if we’re not in the same room together," says MOBE Guide Ned, who helps people thrive with a human-first, digitally-supported connection. "MOBE Guides use technology to communicate with our participants throughout the country in two unique and compassionate ways: Our participant sessions (conducted over the phone) and the MOBE Health Guide app." Discover more about Ned and how his work as a MOBE Guide is making a difference for participants and companies 👉 https://bit.ly/3LxcegC #MOBEforLife #HealthBenefits #EmployeeBenefits #EmployeeHealth #HealthCare

Effective engagement, like your grandma's chicken soup, requires a perfect combination of ingredients. 🍲 Lucky for us, the recipe has been in plain sight for decades. Since the early 90s, social marketing (sometimes called behavior change marketing) has been a part of many major public health initiatives—from boosting vaccination rates to encouraging breastfeeding to reducing obesity. Given the success of these campaigns, it's no wonder many health plans and employers are adopting these strategies to improve health outcomes and reduce costs. At MOBE, we've found that effective social marketing interventions require the perfect 'mix' of ingredients. And it's largely why our engagement rates can top 30% for a selected population. Swipe left for more details about the recipe 👈 #SocialMarketing #BehaviorChangeMarketing #HealthOutcomes #HealthCare #HealthEngagement

As AI revolutionizes health care, using the power of human-to-human connection is more important than ever to provide personalized care and establish trust. When you give your people access to MOBE, they start a genuine relationship with an experienced, dedicated, licensed MOBE Pharmacist who gets to know them, their goals, and challenges. Did you know that in 2022 the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) updated its Health Equity Strategy by adding a new requirement for health plans to get accredited? This new requirement attempts to tackle bias in AI by making sure health plans identify and reduce potential biases when grouping and categorizing people. “It has always been our philosophy at MOBE to do everything possible to prevent new bias within our algorithms," Travis Hoyt, MOBE's Chief Information and Analytics Officer, says in a recent article about bias in AI. "Our models exclude functions like race, ethnicity, language, and ZIP codes. We’re also smart about not perpetuating bias that might already exist in a dataset by avoiding training our models on any features we know have bias embedded within them.” Learn more about AI bias and how MOBE is leading the effort to provide fair, equitable health care for everyone 👉 https://bit.ly/4bMDwvc #HealthEquity #HealthPlan #MOBEforLife #HealthCare

At MOBE, our Engagement Specialists are the driving force behind our ongoing mission. And Katrina Robel is one of the best. In her role, Katrina is often the first person our participants talk to before meeting with a MOBE Guide and Pharmacist. "I like how it's a mix of customer service and sales. My dad is a salesman, and while we're not selling anything to our participants, I like to think part of the reason I connect with people easily is because of him." Talking to hundreds of participants each week, Katrina takes pride in helping people better understand their benefits. "A lot of people aren't aware of the programs that are free to them to use. So when you do connect with someone interested in transforming their health, it's great that we can step in and say, 'We can help you.'" Due to her excellent performance, she transitioned from a contract role to full-time two months early. "I'm a hustler. I've had a job since I was 15 and have always been hard at work." Despite being with us for less than a year, Katrina is already helping train new hires and collaborates with teams across the organization. She's excited about the many lives MOBE expects to help as we gain more partners in the latter half of the year and looks forward to capitalizing on the opportunities this growth will bring. Thank you, Katrina, for being a dynamic and welcoming voice to those ready to make healthier changes in their lives. #HealthCare #EmployeeSpotlight #MOBEforLife #HealthEngagement

There's more to learn from Goldilocks than just respecting others' property. "Finding the 'just-right' fit when it comes to health and well-being programs can sometimes feel like stepping into a fairy tale," says MOBE's Vice President, Alliance and Consultant Relations Bria Gali (Borcherding) she/her. "From 'too-big' one-size-fits-all programs that get lackluster engagement, to 'too-small' point solutions that are narrow in scope and don’t work for people with multiple chronic conditions. It can be overwhelming." In this article, Bria: 🩺 highlights a population of frequent health care users with multiple chronic conditions 😕 explains how they challenge traditional health programs and savings efforts 🍲 reveals a balanced approach to caring for people, data, and outcomes Read it here 👇 #HealthCare #HealthCareCosts #EmployeeBenefits #EmployeeHealth

PwC projects an 8% rise in health care costs in 2025—the highest level in 13 years. "This near-record trend is driven by inflationary pressure, prescription drug spending, and behavioral health utilization," PwC states in this report 👉 https://pwc.to/3g52Sa9 As cost trends continue to increase, so does the pressure on benefits solutions to address health and well-being while containing costs.
