Montecito Community Development District

The Montecito Community Development District (the District) is an independent local unit of, special-purpose government, created pursuant to and existing under the provisions of Chapter 190, Florida Statutes, and established by Ordinance 904 adopted of the City of Satellite Beach, Florida which became effective on July 20th, 2005. Montecito is a 102-acre subdivision established in 2005 within the city limits of Satellite Beach between South Patrick Boulevard and Highway A1A, just north of Shearwater Parkway. Montecito is comprised of single-family homes and townhomes. Currently there are 127 single family homes and 172 townhomes, with 122 more to be built. When the community is complete, there will be a total of 421 properties within Montecito.
