This is an excellent opportunity for a physician leader who wants to play a key role in continuing to establish the four-year old center as a leader in community health. THE POSITION: Southern Nevada Health District is looking for a knowledgeable clinician and leader who can provide clinical support and mentorship to staff and display business acumen. Some key initiatives the Medical Director will lead include quality improvement and assurance initiatives; improvement of HEDIS scores and FQHC performance measures; workflow enhancements; and development of policies and procedures. The Medical Director will be responsible for planning, directing, and managing assigned medical staff providing comprehensive primary care services in District facilities; consult and participate in complex patient care situations; and will have direct patient care responsibilities.
