That’s a wrap! The 2024 Class of LeadershipITE completed our final session yesterday at the ITE Annual Meeting in Philadelphia. I am honored to join an extensive network of LITE alumni and to have spent the past several months working through the program with my amazing classmates. This program has truly been a self-reflective experience and has challenged me to become a better leader. Thank you to my employers at CBB Transportation Engineers + Planners and our local leaders at Gateway Section of ITE (GSITE) and MOVITE - Missouri Valley District of ITE for the financial and moral support for me to participate in this program. Thank you to ITE—A Community of Transportation Professionals for continuing to support the LeadershipITE program each year. Thank you to the committee volunteers and Shelley Row, PE, CSP for organizing incredible content. And lastly, thank you to my classmates for being so willing to share your experiences and engage in meaningful discussions. I highly recommend this program! Whether you’re new to project management/leadership roles or experienced in a higher supervisor role, there’s something for everyone. Join GSITE for an evening of food, drinks, and games at 4:30pm on Thursday, September 5th. All GSITE members and families are welcome. The event will be held at the Smith Shelter and nearby parking is attached for guidance.
