    We are #hiring a Principal Mobile Solution Architect in Miami, FL. This is a hybrid role. Essential functions for this role: ✅ Code – Lead by example and write high quality code and provide technical example and guidance to the rest of the scrum team. The primary contribution to the team is through code. ✅ Design – Synthesize Architectural solutions by leveraging accepted architectural patterns and practices to drive the creation of software designs. Create project level technical designs using the appropriate software stack, patterns, technologies and libraries. ✅ Collaborate and Clarify – Partner with the business, Business Analysts, Product Owners, and other stakeholders on decisions regarding prioritization, execution, work allocation, sprint planning, goal setting. Help to clarify the technical concerns of stakeholders including the business and the development team.     People would rather be electrocuted than publically suck at something. That was in a study I read recently. Literally, people would rather receive an electric shock than fail. And I get it. I remember when I did my first speaking gig after Covid, I was so insanely anxious about going up there and bombing. Before starting, my heart was racing, I was sweating through my shirt and I hoped I would remember what I'd planned. Then, they called my name. And it was an absolute disaster. I was fumbling, nervous and it knocked my confidence. After that, I scheduled as many public appearances as possible. I made a point to do company-wide meetings as often as I could. I did everything in my power to bulldoze through that fear so there was 0% chance of that happening again. If you have a fear that's making the electric shock *actually* sound appealing, please take my advice. Make a plan, start small, but go out there and conquer it. Because there is beauty in being uncomfortable. And the more you do it, the more comfortable you will be with the uncomfortable.

    As an unabashed extrovert, it may surprise some to know that for many years I didn't make time or prioritize "networking" Part of the problem was I had to reframe it. Networking sounded so transactional to me. Building professional relationships because you're curious to learn about others? That's something I could get behind! Here are 3 tips I've learned after many years of "curiosity conversations": Step 1: Show up as your authentic self. → People can see through you if you aren't being genuine. Step 2: Be authentically curious about the person you are with. → Once you realize everyone has a story, and everyone has something you can learn from - this will feel really natural. Step 3: Find common ground. → Read, listen to podcasts, find points of relatability. If you can only talk about what you like/follow, you are going to limit the amount of people you can connect with You may not remember everybody you meet, but you can control the way you're remembered.
