Thank you all for joining us at our screening event for When Giants Walked Here! Fans of wrestling and architecture alike filled the seats at The Rialto Theatre, celebrating the deep culture and history of the Dorton Arena. The passion was palpable, from fans donning their wrestling alter-egos to our enthusiastic and insightful panel discussion. Those of you at home can still be transported back to a time when giants roamed the squared circle when the film premieres tomorrow, August 8, at 10 PM on PBS NC and the PBS app.

As summer ends, so does our time with our amazing PBS NC summer 2024 interns! This year, we had 7 interns spanning from universities all across the state including Elon University School of Communications, NC State University, The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, UNC Pembroke, University of North Carolina School of the Arts, and North Carolina A&T State University. They worked in various departments from digital to production to archives - joining in on productions, working on marketing plans and attending conferences. We wish Denver, Aniya, Allie, Wesley, Stephany, Christian, Eleina and Emmy the best as they return to their respective schools for the upcoming school year! 🎉
