As students return to school and their routines, it’s important to provide youth with the support they need for a successful back to school season 📚 ✏ Check out our Upcoming Fall NAMI Basics courses! NAMI Basics is a free, 6-session education course for parents and family caregivers of children and teens age 21 and younger who are experiencing mental health symptoms. If you are a Mental Health Professional, consider becoming a NAMI Provider Teacher! Becoming a NAMI Provider Teacher means you will be certified to teach the NAMI Signature Education Program, NAMI Provider Workshop. NAMI Provider Workshops are one-day, 6-hour, virtual workshops that are presented to professionals throughout Missouri at no cost to participants. NAMI Provider Workshop introduces mental health professionals to the unique perspectives of people with mental health conditions and their families. The program promotes enhanced empathy and the importance of including patients in all aspects of the treatment process. If you are interested in becoming a NAMI Provider Teacher, we are holding a Statewide Virtual Provider Teacher Training on Nov. 23, 2024 @8am-5pm.
