On behalf of the National Center for Victims of Crime and the Problem Solving Courts of Prince George's County, I am happy to work with Congressman Glenn Ivey and leadership from MY Prince George's County Police Department and the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services to collaborate and find solutions that keep Marylanders safe.
We were grateful to host Representative Glenn Ivey at NCVC, along with our Executive Director Renee Williams, board member and treasurer Kerry R. Watson, Jr., Prince George's County Police Department Chief, Malik Aziz, and Deputy Secretary Lisa Garry of the Maryland Department of Juvenile Services. Our discussion focused on tackling youth violence and supporting victims through initiatives like Safe Streets. Renée’s pup, Jack, also made a special appearance, joining us by the congressman’s request! Excited for the follow-up meetings to continue these vital efforts. #NCVC #Leadership #CommunityDevelopment
