The popular coffee brand Nespresso is branching out beyond coffee for the first time since it launched nearly 40 years ago. The move? To honey! That's right; the company is launching its own line of honey-based products with the introduction of its Coffee Bloom line. The line features a coffee blossom varietal and Coffee Blossom Honey Syrup, which are produced by the same bees that pollinate the Nespresso coffee plants. The move not only capitalizes on the growing trend of honey in the coffee space but also allows the brand to add more regenerative agriculture practices to its sustainability mission.

For National Honey Bee Day, our expert beekeeper Hilary Kearney shared how her curiosity for bee rescues has turned into a 14-year-long career. These mighty pollinators are crucial to the production of one-third of the foods we consume, making their conservation vital. Here are a few ways we can all can make a difference, according to Hilary: - Buy honey and support honey bees and beekeepers - Buy and enjoy made-with-honey products, like baked goods, cereals and beverages sweetened with honey - Create bee-friendly spaces by planting native wildflowers - Avoid the use of pesticides and pull weeds out by hand - Call a beekeeper to rescue unwanted colonies instead of an exterminator Let’s make every day a day to celebrate and protect our pollinators. 🐝 #NationalHoneyBeeDay #HoneySavesHives #PollinatorProtection

As we prepare to celebrate #NationalHoneyBeeDay on August 17th, we're reminded of how vital hard-working honey bees and beekeepers are to our food system. Supporting beekeepers by buying honey is essential so they can continue to provide bees to farms across the nation for the pollination of roughly 1/3 of our diet. In the video below, farmer Jennifer Euwer and beekeeper George Hansen from the Foothills Honey Company talk about the importance of their partnership for the pollination of agricultural crops. #CelebratingBeekeeping
