What does a cure mean to you? Is it about gaining freedom, finding hope, restoring mobility, or something else entirely? Every day, we're dedicated to advancing towards that goal. And with your support, we've made incredible progress: - 210 cutting-edge, Society-funded research projects underway - At least 10 potential myelin repair treatments now in clinical trials - Over 230 genetic variants linked to MS have been discovered This July, every penny you contribute to our July research campaign will directly fuel our work for a cure. Don't miss out on this chance to become a research hero: https://lnkd.in/g8rbusEY

#InternSpotlight: Today, we'd like to highlight our Legal Intern, Ree Hong! Coming from Seoul, Korea and studying at University of Minnesota Law School, Ree says she's very excited to learn and contribute to the Society from a legal perspective. "It offers a fantastic opportunity to learn how to mitigate legal risks and enhance compliance, ultimately serving our MS community better. The active communication and systematic teamwork within the legal team are truly inspiring! Also, my supervisor and teammates are amazing, always willing to help and advise, fostering growth and development for interns." A fun fact about Ree is she says she's never experienced any jet lag in her entire life! Welcome to the Society, Ree - we're grateful you're here!

An important part of MS research is understanding why it occurs – so we can stop it before it starts. Philip De Jager, MD, PhD, created the Genes Environment in MS project to answer the genetic questions around MS. Your July Research campaign gift goes 100% towards MS research and helps scientists make more discoveries like this. Give today at: https://lnkd.in/g8rbusEY

#InternSpotlight: Meet Kayleigh Floyd - the Society's Development Intern for Bike MS! A senior at University of Texas - Austin, she recently helped put on Bike MS: Colorado. "Bike MS Colorado is the product of our amazing staff, riders, volunteers, and supporters. I loved talking to participants because each person has a unique story, connection to MS, and reason for riding. I'm so lucky to have been included in this supportive community. The highlight of Bike MS for me was the Champions Finish, where we honored everyone living with MS, who inspire our mission and drive our work." In addition to interning at the Society, Kayleigh says she loves playing video and tabletop games. She's excited about her internship because of the "incredible community and the profound impact we make." Thank you, Kayleigh, for all your help on Bike MS: Colorado and we can't wait to see what else you do in the Development space!
