A California Dreamin' of Pasta 🇮🇹🇺🇸🍝 Today, we take a trip down memory lane with the Costa Macaroni Manufacturing Company. This family-owned business, founded by Sicilian immigrants in Los Angeles' "Little Italy," started as a selection of homemade pasta in their store. Their dedication to quality turned them into a staple, not just for families, but for restaurants, schools, and even the military! The Ladies of Macaroni Meet in 1952 🍝 This photo, unearthed from our archives, features the "King Midas' Luncheon Party" held in 1952. The ladies of executives and representatives of King Midas Flour Mills Co., Minneapolis entertained ladies of the macaroni manufacturers from the United States and Canada. The elegant event included a cocktail hour in the King Midas reception rooms, followed by a luncheon at the famous "Salon B" on the mezzanine floor of the Mount Royal Hotel in Montreal, Canada.
