This week’s spotlight is on Cory Weber, Customer Service Representative. Cory was nominated for embodying our core value of We Work Together. When asked what he loves most about his job, Cory said, "The customers on a business and personal level, helping them with selecting and locating parts." Cory has been involved with NPW through two previous acquisitions for 49 years, during which he has worked in various roles such as warehouse worker, management, outside sales, and inside sales. He is proud to still be learning something new every day. Cory contributes to a positive team culture by leveraging his knowledge of different NPW locations and their unique customer processes. He is proud to be a part of NPW because he works for a growing company that continues to expand its product offerings. The most valuable lesson Cory has learned in his career is to "work with a smile on your face and in your voice, embrace the changes, and follow up quickly with answers to customers and coworkers." Outside of work, Cory enjoys spending time with family, traveling, camping, and getting together with longtime friends. Kyle Lyon, Cory’s colleague, said, "Cory is a fantastic asset to NPW! Cory’s customer-centric personality, deep product line knowledge, and attention to detail combine to make him well equipped for his role." This week’s spotlight is on Gary Edwards, Customer Service Representative. Gary was nominated for embodying our core value of We Care. When asked what he loves most about his job, Gary said, "I enjoy the flexibility of talking to so many different people and doing what I like best – engine work." Since joining NPW, Gary's role has expanded significantly more than he ever expected, and he is thrilled to be part of the company's growth. What makes Gary proud to be a part of NPW is the philosophy of never saying no to customers' needs. He believes that by always finding a way to help, NPW can build lasting relationships with customers. The most valuable lesson Gary has learned in his career is to "always listen and let the customer speak first, being sympathetic to their needs or misfortunes." Gary relates most to the core value of We Care because he strives to guide and help customers the way NPW would want, ensuring good relationships. Outside of work, Gary enjoys playing golf on weekends, helping his wife with yard and gardening tasks, going to the beach, and working around the house. Kyle Lyon, Gary’s colleague, said, "Gary has spent many years building his product knowledge and developing strong, invaluable relationships with customers and vendors. His passion for taking care of the customers he works with makes him a valuable member of our team." Thank you, Gary, for being a valued member of the NPW Family!

This week’s spotlight is on Chris Capps, a Commercial Account Manager based in our Alabama market. Chris was nominated for embodying our core value of We Care. When asked what he loves most about his job, Chris said, "I'm able to spend my day helping others have a better day." Chris joined NPW in 2015 and has seen tremendous growth within the company. He is proud to be part of this journey and is excited to see NPW reach the top. Chris contributes to a positive team culture by always being prepared to make a difference. He shared, "Each call or interaction is unique and requires a unique response. We have enough negative in this world, so positive is where I like to live!" When asked what makes him proud to be a part of NPW, Chris simply said, "Family." His most valuable career lesson is that "Customer Service starts right here!" Outside of work, Chris loves to hike and explore National Parks with his family. He is also excited about his new role as a Prison/Jail minister, hoping to make a positive impact there as well. Luis Rodriguez, Chris's supervisor, said, "Chris always has a yes-I-can attitude when it comes to removing any roadblocks that may hinder building a long-lasting relationship with our NPW family and customers. He is also a bright light on rainy days." Thank you, Chris, for being a valued member of the NPW Family!
