Senior Vice President, Technical Services / Expert - Civil/Structural Engineer

#ETHICS! When I saw the cover story of PE Magazine, I got excited. As a self-proclaimed ethics fan, I couldn't wait to dig into this issue. It contains such a great discussion and one that all engineers (and non-engineers, too) should explore - the idea of ethical leadership. Includes examples, tips, and strategies to consider. Sharing it internally with our team here at MC Consultants today as it's just too good to ignore. I'm not the only one that gets excited by an ethics article, right? It was the best mail I received in a long time! Read the article here: https://lnkd.in/dPURSwyg #engineering #leadership National Society of Professional Engineers

Land Development Team Leader at VHB

As someone who jokes that every school I went to is nearly on the same street, here in Raleigh NC, I am deeply honored and humbled to be recognized with the National Society of Professional Engineers (NSPE) New Professional of the Year Award. My first job was serving as an assistant to Professional Engineers of North Carolina’s (PENC) Executive Director at the time. That summer, I began to appreciate the mission of NSPE and PENC. The work that we do as professional engineers would not be possible without the advocacy, continuing education, and strong support of organizations such as these. The work that I do though, wouldn’t be possible without so many others. This award is a recognition of the support, sometimes patience, and constant encouragement afforded to me by my team, co-workers, family, friends, and others that I volunteer alongside. We never walk this world alone; it is with the utmost respect, humility, and appreciation that I thank you for being a part of my journey. #PENC #NSPE # VHB #NSPECon24
