    Another successful virtual event in the books! Our AMA with Chris Shumaker and Hasan Ramusevic captured the essence of the NBZ community. There was vulnerability, sharing, swearing, old friends, new friends and everything in between. It was a perfect blend of the rawness and camaraderie that we are all craving. A huge thank you to Hasan and Chris for embodying our values and continuously pushing our industry forward. Today, we were reminded that the 'petty' reasons clients don't choose you—like wearing the wrong shoes—can be disheartening, but they also highlight a crucial point: Every detail matters. The key is to consistently show up as your best self, embody your brand in every small detail, and be confident that the right clients will align with who you truly are. Authenticity wins in the end.

    Last week, we had a conversation with the CMO of a renowned food company. She is an award-winning leader active in various CMO clubs and WhatsApp groups where there is constant requests to recommend agencies. She shared some hard-hitting advice for talented but lesser-known agencies looking to get noticed: Visibility is crucial. "It’s all about who you last talked to and who keeps showing up. Forge your own brand awareness and stay visible. With the whirlwind of daily business, it's those who make themselves seen and heard that I remember. Just yesterday, I had dinner with one, saw another at an event. The ones that are top of mind are the ones I recommend." We drill this into our clients consistently. We're not saying it's easy, but it's essential. 🗣️ Remember, it’s not only about what you've accomplished; it’s about when someone’s heard from you or about you last. What efforts are you making to broadcast your message consistently and be UNIGNORABLE? If you’re not the last agency they saw or heard from, you’re set to miss the opportunities that are right for you. From attending industry events and client dinners to leveraging LinkedIn, creating and sharing content , traveling to meet prospects, engaging in direct email campaigns, and maintaining strong media relations, every action counts. Stay visible, stay engaged, and ensure you’re the one they remember! You have to be top of mind to get share of mind.

    Meet the leadership team at Verve Branding, a renowned branding and design firm based in Connecticut. Comprising top-tier talent, each member is a formidable superstar in their craft. However, none of them are new business professionals. For the past eight years, they’ve managed new business collaboratively but chaotically. Their approach worked until recently when they completed an exceptional rebrand for a CPG icon, garnering significant PR. Now, new business inquiries are pouring in, and the team struggles to manage them, having already lost a few opportunities due to disorganization. Recognizing the need for a dedicated new business leader, they turned to NBZ. NBZ stepped in to define the role based on the exact puzzle piece needed to complement the team’s strengths.
