Our Cebu office recently celebrated National Language Month with a memorable event, Trivia Night for a Cause. Employees from various teams came together to enjoy a fun-filled trivia game, answering questions about Philippine history, well-known Filipino personalities, and other local facts, all in the Filipino language. The event wasn’t just about fun – it helped raise funds and collect schoolbooks for Bitlang Integrated School, a public school in the Cebu City highlands, as part of our corporate responsibility program. Yesterday, our Belgrade office hosted a powerful panel discussion titled “Rights We Don't Have.“ The panel was organized by UNITED, our employee resource group for LGBTQIA+ employees and allies, and focused on the challenges of the LGBTQIA+ community in Serbia. Bojan Lazic, lawyer and Center for Research, Transparency and Accountability associate, and Filip Milenovic, psychologist and psychotherapist, brought up critical issues such as discrimination, limited opportunities, and the harsh realities of being judged based on sexual orientation and physical appearance. They highlighted the severe consequences that LGBTQIA+ individuals deal with due to early childhood discrimination, bullying, and physical abuse, especially in smaller communities. The panelists also emphasized the vital role of law in preventing discrimination, its effective implementation, and the importance of education in promoting diversity and acceptance in schools. As an international company, we believe that diversity makes us stronger, and our involvement in such conversations reflects our dedication to nurturing an inclusive environment. Through initiatives like this, we strive to support and uplift marginalized communities, reinforcing our core values and driving positive change both within our offices and in the broader community. #LifeAtNCRVoyix #BelgradePride 🌈
