September 9-13 marks Construction Suicide Prevention Week, and starting in 2024, the construction industry will unite to honor those we've lost and commit to preventing further tragedies. The suicide rate among construction workers is 5.5 times higher than other on-site fatalities and over four times the general population. With more than 8 million workers in the industry, prioritizing mental health is crucial. NECA is fully committed to supporting the mental and physical health of all construction workers. Today, we will be joining Construction Suicide Prevention for a minute of silence during its nationwide stand-down to honor lives lost to suicide and show our commitment to bringing everyone home healthy. Today's #MemberMonday spotlight is on JW Carrigan LLC Electric & Communications for their exceptional work on their project renovating the Philadelphia Cricket Clubhouse, which included building new exterior racquet courts, and milling the existing paved surface on the property. The project included: ⚡Steel and framing work ⚡Installing lighting fixtures, hangers, clamps, and lamps ⚡Setting up a new panel for the racquet courts ⚡Installing weatherproof receptacles under courts for heaters J.W.
