Our Night of Elegance was a beautiful opportunity for the residents, families, and NewCourtland staff to come together and celebrate National Senior Citizens Day. Neil Lee of SH Music provided live entertainment, creating a memorable experience for all.

NewCourtland initially introduced ARCHANGELS Any Care Counts to its employees and identified a need for access to caregiver resources. Based on the results, it was evident that there is a need to extend this program to the Philadelphia community. Today was a great day! Rev. Jennell M. hosted a NewCourtland Network workshop with Nancy Richards, Activity Pathways, LLC, for NewCourtland Service Coordinators, Senior Center staff, and Germantown Home activity staff. The workshop provided insight into how to enrich our program delivery and effectively engage, empower, and cultivate our seniors' well-being through therapeutic activities.

About 40 older adults participated in Philadelphia Corporation for Aging's inaugural 'Carousel of Talent' Show at NewCourtland's Philadelphia Senior Center on the Avenue of the Arts. Delighted to have Kevin Moran from Urban Land Institute come tour our first truly inclusive housing property on Henry Ave today. We were excited to learn more about ULI's work in the community and mission to shape the future of the built environment for transformative impact in communities worldwide. ULI is a nonprofit research and education organization supported by its members. They have a small, yet impressive and knowledgeable team and a strong Advisory Board. NewCourtland 's expertise in quality affordable housing with supportive services for medical complex and senior residents, and Board support from Mary Naylor Stephen Mullin and cornelius pitts allowed us to take risks and and truly be innovators in the housing space with the goal of advancing our health equity mission, impact policy and allocation of resources towards solutions vs. servicing of needs.
