"Our vision is to make credit transactions instant, automated, and error-free. This funding round, supported by leading financial institutions and investors, propels us forward in our mission to build the technology infrastructure for capital markets." - Stuart Wall Congrats to portfolio company Setpoint on their $30M Series B, which we were honored to be a part of. As NextView Partner Rob Go said, Series Bs are hard to come by these days, but with strong PMF, extremely efficient growth, and a large underserved market opportunity, folks definitely take notice. We’re excited to announce that Attentive has been named to Forbes 2024 Cloud 100 for the fourth consecutive year! Forbes highlights that in 2023 alone, our customers sent over 32 billion text messages, driving nearly $20 billion in revenue. Our AI-powered solutions are redefining personalized messaging by ensuring every SMS and email is unique, bringing brands and consumers closer together. The #Cloud100☁️ evaluation process involved ranking companies across four factors: market leadership, estimated valuation, operating metrics, and people & culture. We’re incredibly thankful to our customers, partners, and our amazing team for making it possible for us to be recognized alongside the biggest private cloud companies in the world. Thank you, Forbes, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Salesforce Ventures, for the recognition. View the full list: https://bit.ly/3s0EW3h

"The concept of data democratization, i.e., increasing ease of access and speed to high-quality data insights across the organization, has been a thematic area of interest given its pervasive impact on the everyday lives of knowledge workers. The advancement of LLMs has opened up new technical possibilities, and we’ve met many founders over the past 18 months rushing to build and innovate in this space." - Melody Koh

𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗗𝗲𝗺𝗼𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗔𝗜 I've long been convinced that there's an untapped opportunity to dramatically increase the ease of access and speed to high-quality data insights across the organization. With the advancement of LLMs there's a clear 𝘞𝘩𝘺 𝘕𝘰𝘸, and we’ve met many founders over the past 18 months rushing to build and innovate in this space. There are clear opportunities that have emerged with the technology, to name a few: 𝟭. 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗟𝗮𝗻𝗴𝘂𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: Simplifies data interaction, making insights accessible without technical knowledge. 𝟮. 𝗘𝗻𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗰𝗲𝗱 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮 𝗨𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴: Leverages unstructured data for better schema comprehension and documentation. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗳𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀: AI-driven dialogues help refine data queries for non-technical users. This might be predictable, but IMO some of the biggest challenges are GTM and organizational behavior related: 𝟭. 𝗚𝗧𝗠 𝗦𝘁𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗴𝘆: Balancing between supplementing and replacing data teams. 𝟮. 𝗣𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘃𝘀. 𝗕𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗔𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁: Identifying the right stakeholders and budget sources. 𝟯. 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗮𝘁𝗮 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗮𝘀: Achieving accurate schema mapping. 𝟰. 𝗕𝗲𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲: Encouraging users to adopt new AI-driven methods over traditional ones.  Founders and builders exploring in this space - what you're seeing and experiencing? 🚨 Breaking Bobbie News: We are officially sitting pretty in our new manufacturing facility with Bobbie product being powdered, canned and shipped to doorsteps nationwide! In response to the widespread formula shortage of 2022, we knew that being able to serve more families (reliably) meant building the needed supply chain redundancy. So we did just that. Almost a year ago to this week, we acquired American infant formula manufacturing company, Nature’s One and its Ohio-based facility (and this 90,000-square-foot beauty has been our entire focus over the last year to get ready for today). We’re excited to be on the other side of this awkward, brace-faced growth spurt, and look forward to this next era of pearly whites and a steady supply of Bobbie. For this mom-founded and led team, our success has never been solely about creating an undeniably good formula; we wake up every morning committed to creating a better industry, that is resilient, challenging the status quo and never compromising on quality—because our babies deserve it! 💪   To our Bobbie Fam: To say we are grateful for your patience during this time is an understatement. Thank you for riding this ride with us 💚 Read more about our expansion here: https://lnkd.in/eftK3D5C

Thanks to those who attended our AI Disruption Across Non-Traditional Industries panel for #TechWeek with co-hosts Gunderson Dettmer & Twelve Below 💫 It was a fascinating discussion between founders Tom Petit, Sampei Omichi, Jamie Albers, Michael Kobida, and Shaun Springer, who all spoke about how AI is transforming the industries they are building in: supply chain, immigration law, professional coaching, synthetic biology, and everyday manual workflows 🛠️ We discussed topics like the impact of AI, the challenges it creates, the solutions it brings to the table, the defensibility of building with AI, the internal AI tooling hacks each founder uses, everyone's thoughts on the future of AGI, and more. We We even got a lawyer's POV on all of these transformations thanks to Rosie Stein ⚖️  Lastly, thanks to our sponsors Customers Bank and Zendesk for supporting. Cheers to many more productive and inspiring TECH WEEK by a16z conversations and gatherings 🍻

Last week, we hosted our Inaugural NextView Founder Retreat in Santa Cruz, California. It was an incredible multi-day event, bringing together 50 founders from a wide range of industries, geographies, stages, and walks of life ☀ The goal of the retreat was simple; we wanted every entrepreneur to walk away feeling like they found their founder soulmate. Someone they can connect with, confide in, lean on, and laugh with for years to come 👥 To do so, we traded crowded speaker series for intimate coaching circles. We swapped stuffy conference rooms for hikes in nature. We exchanged panels for pickleball, boardrooms for breathwork, the list goes on 🌳 To Satya Kamdar from Practice Inc.: thank you for bringing in best-of-the-best founder coaches, as well as supporting across retreat design 💫 To Ted Wilson from Stifel Bank: thank you for helping our dream kickoff event to life 🙏 And most importantly, to the founders. Thank you for showing up and being so present, so open, and so engaged. We are proud to know and back each and every one of you. Until next year 🚀 #founderretreat #founders #startups
