The past couple of years have brought uncertainty for startups, but the #DACH ecosystem has shown remarkable resilience amidst these challenges 🚀 ✨ Today, we at NGP Capital are thrilled to unveil the DACH Startups Decoded Vol. 2024 report, diving deep into the current state of the DACH startup landscape. Comparing data from Q2 2023 to Q1 2024, we analyzed over 1676 venture-backed startups and 1748 funding rounds from across Germany, Switzerland, Austria, and Liechtenstein, to shed light on key trends in the region. 📈 🔍5 Key Findings from the Report: 1️⃣ Quarterly funding figures have stabilized between $2.5-$3.2 billion since Q3 2022. 2️⃣ Germany accounts for 75.2% of venture funding, while Switzerland leads per capita with $247. 3️⃣ #AI funding soared by 114% YoY in Q1 2024 to $1.38 billion. 4️⃣ Industrial tech startups raised $2.23 billion (LTM), led by Advanced Manufacturing, #Robotics, and Computer Vision. 5️⃣ B2B funding remains strong at $2B, while B2C funding trends downward at $0.5 billion in Q1 2024.
