What are the top factors that will increase your chances of winning? Here are my top 5 for how SDRs should think about their next company/role: - What would you add? - How would you rank them? Share your comments below 👇 1️⃣ **Collaborative teammates** that will push you to succeed and celebrate your wins. This one should be clear. If it's unclear to you, don't click the link below. SDR teams can be a mess if there's internal tension. I'm just focused on numbers and success, plus I'm too old to deal with that stuff on my team. 2️⃣ **A clear problem** that your solution is solving. As a cold caller/emailer/LinkedIn outreacher, you have about a minute to explain who you are - maybe less. If the problem takes a long time to articulate, good luck with outbound or getting reasonable CPLs on your ads. Knowing the problem you're solving makes your sales funnel smoother, helps you crush targets, and lowers customer acquisition costs. 3️⃣ **A defined persona** that thinks about this problem daily, if not weekly, that you can identify and target in your outreach. If the problem is shared between people or doesn't have a clear owner it's harder to get into an org. More work to create lead lists. More work to get someone on a call. Or to not hang up 📞 . 🎧 **Quick story** Last week, on a call, I asked the prospect for a quick intro. They said, well, Dan cold-called me, so that's why I'm here. My response, well you still didn't have to take the call, right? His response, well it's my job to solve this issue, so I wanted to hear more. 4️⃣ **A solid product** that will change the whole nature of this persona's work or results, not just a nice to have. This is important for willingness to pay and demo to opp conversion in the short term, creating long-term retention, and scaling GTM in the long term. 🎧 **Quick story** On a call last week. At the end of the call, the prospect tells me, I can't believe I still need to do this work on my own tomorrow. Dreading it. I keep thinking about how my job will be different once I have Nilus. 5️⃣ **A crisp answer** as to how you are different and why you created your company/solution (whether or not you have direct competitors, p.s. - the current way the job is done is also a competitor). Even if your prospects aren't thinking about competition before your demo, they will (or should) after your call (and competition can also be their current workflow). Be ready.
