About us
Our Mission and Work Our mission is to help close the achievement gap by improving educational opportunities for students from low income households. In addition, we support educators through programs that encourage excellence and innovation in the classroom. How We Do It: Through the generous support of volunteers, partners and friends who share our belief that education and exposure are key elements in overcoming the effects of poverty, we: -Partner with schools and communities to provide enhanced educational opportunities that promote academic success, free of charge, to at-risk children from Kindergarten through grade 12. -Provide resources to families to address challenges that impede the academic success of their children. -Support underfunded classroom teachers to encourage innovation and enrich the quality of education for students. -Encourage excellence in the classroom by recognizing, rewarding and celebrating outstanding educators. We believe that a quality education affords students the opportunity to develop their God-given gifts and talents so they can impact the world. Noggin Educational Foundation is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of at-risk students, their parents and the educators who serve them.

Each year, Noggin participates in an online giving event sponsored by Communities Foundation of Texas called North Texas Giving Day. This fundraiser makes a significant impact on our free tutoring and special education advocacy programs. At Noggin we are all about securing bright futures! Our goal is to support each of our students with consistent academic support until they graduate from high school, giving them their best chance of success. This commitment will not be possible without support from individuals like YOU who believe in our mission and in our students! Click on the link below to find out more about Noggin and to give. Early giving begins 9/1/24 and North Texas Giving Day is September 19th. https://lnkd.in/gwpTmFaa

The STEM Strong Sisters have had an amazing summer meeting inspiring women of color in various STEM fields. Our next stop is the studios of WFAA, Channel 8 where the girls will learn from Emmy-nominated meteorologist, Mariel Ruiz! Stay tuned! What a great learning experience our STEM Strong Sisters had visiting the Grand Prairie Police Department CSI Department today! They learned about a career in crime scene investigation, learned to dust for and lift fingerprints, and saw how CSI’s use tools and chemicals to find evidence that can’t be seen with the naked eye. We enjoyed a fun and educational afternoon! #stemgirls #WomenInSTEM #RepresentationMatters

Our thanks to Kimberly Matthews owner of Holy Rollie Pastry Shop in Irving, TX who shared with our STEM Strong Sisters about the science of baking. As a cool added STEM bonus, Kim is also a R&D Research Associate at NCH Corporation, a chemical manufacturing company in Irving! #stemstrong #girlsinstem #womeninstem

Last week we offered our first week-long robotics camp in Mansfield and it was a great success. Thank you to everyone who made it possible. Margaret Crawley, Teri Hoffman, MPA, Neil Sparkman, Zion Rodgers, Renee Sample, Benita Reed, NISSAN FOUNDATION, The Village Giving Circle, GoAeroMx, LLC, Ralph Grimes, Douglas Fernow, PMP - USAF Veteran,
We couldn't be happier with the success of our robotics camp this year. 29 students participated and received hands-on experience that not only fostered their interest in STEM but also equipped them with practical skills in robotics and engineering and soft skills such as critical thinking, collaboration, creativity, and grit.
