There is a brief mention of carbon being encapsulated in the design, which can lead to climate change mitigation in the long haul. Our friends at Roseburg Forest Products do a great job explaining the carbon cycle and the environmental benefits associated with forest products. “[The forest products industry] is committed to processes that sequester carbon while minimizing any negative impact on the climate. Forests pull carbon out of the atmosphere through photosynthesis and store it in trees, shrubs, and soil.
