Members of the NTIASIU had the pleasure of attending the IASIU Fraud Conference this week in Nashville, Tennessee. A great show was put on for the IASIU's 40th Anniversary! The event featured an impressive lineup of presenters, offering valuable insights to enhance our investigative skills. As a chapter, we are well-versed in organizing regional seminars, but the dedication and effort in the planning of this awesome event by the IASIU Conference Committee is on another level and was evident throughout this three-day conference. Attention All Investigators!! The August meeting is next week!! Jeff Stark with US Forensic will be presenting during our August meeting and his presentation will be on "Vehicle Theft & Transponder Systems". This will be for 1 hour of CE and is beneficial to everyone in claims, SIU, investigations, and/or law enforcement who investigate Auto Thefts. The August meeting has been pushed back one week due to scheduling issues and will be on Tuesday, August 20, 2024. The meeting will take place at: BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse 4901 Belt Line Rd. BELATED POST!!! The IASIU - North Texas Chapter has not posted in some time so we are due!! 2024 has been a really good year for the NTIASIU, and it would not be possible if it was not for a committed and hard-working board, chapter members, and amazing sponsors!! On May 14, 2024 the NTIASIU held it's biennial Fraud Seminar at the WJ Ranch in Celina, Texas. It was a great event and the facilities were awesome! We cannot thank Copart enough for hosting and getting involved in the fight against insurance fraud!!
