The next video in our STORIES (Sharing Tales Of Recovery, Inspiration, Empathy and Strength) is now available to view. In this series, you will hear our Peer Support Specialists share their story of addiction, recovery, and hope. Our goal with this video series is to educate the public, businesses, families, employers, etc., on recovery and to show that people do recover with the correct tools. The STORIES series is also designed to reduce stigma surrounding substance use disorder by highlighting the valuable role individuals in recovery play in their own lives and in the greater community. This video features Jackie Willis. Jackie is a Peer Support Specialist who works with the First Day Forward program in Carter County. In this role, Jackie assists justice-involved individuals in Carter County to give them the proper tools they need to start, continue, and sustain their recovery journey. (For best viewing quality, make sure to select "HD" in the video player.)
