Since 1995, this inspiring nonprofit has been committed to providing meals for families in need, awarding scholarships, and supporting children in martial arts programs. In preparation for the upcoming school year, 28 NESB employees kindly volunteered over 85 hours of their time to pack backpacks with school supplies for students at School on Wheels of Massachusetts. This organization is committed to nurturing the academic, social, and emotional well-being of students facing homelessness and hardship. We applaud School on Wheels for their dedication to equipping students with the tools they need to thrive in school.

Sarah's Village Foundation is the second organization we're highlighting in the 12th Community Giving Campaign. This nonprofit is passionate about improving mental health and challenging negative perceptions surrounding mental illness. With a strong emphasis on suicide prevention among young teenagers and adults, the organization aims to create a healthier community. Committed to their mission to "Be kind and help others," Sarah's Village ensures that 100% of the funds raised are used directly in the communities they serve. We had an amazing employee event at the fantastic Dave's BBQ in Middleborough earlier this week. The gorgeous open-air bar provided the ideal setting for our team to connect, chat, and enjoy a variety of amazing offerings. The venue is top notch as was the fresh wood-oven fired pizza, delicious BBQ spread, and desserts. The Bank highly recommends Dave's BBQ for your next corporate or family function and we thank our team for coming together for another phenomenal evening of fun. Congratulations to Deila Mendes, Jessica Pair, Chanisse Vassell, Richard White, and Brandi Wood, our most recent members of North Easton Saving Bank’s President’s Club. These five individuals represent the best of the Bank: Collaborative, innovative, and high-performing. The President’s Club is earned through recognition by their peers, clients, and community. Throughout the year, they will meet with President and CEO Rich Spencer and discuss ideas, suggestions, and recommendations.
