On Friday, October 18th, and Saturday, October 19th, the NorthPoint Foundation is partnering with The Global Orphan Project to sponsor the GO Feed event in Kansas City. This long-standing event will bring together volunteers to assemble MannaPack meals for vulnerable kids around the world. The NorthPoint Foundation is proud to sponsor an event that brings the Kansas City community together to help kids in need. This is a family-friendly event. Big changes are happening at KCIA this summer! We're thrilled to support our partner, KCIA, by transforming their current multi-purpose room into four separate classrooms. This renovation will significantly improve the learning environment, reducing the teacher-student ratio from 25:1 to 10:1 and allowing students an additional 45 minutes of reading class each day. This project is dedicated to fostering academic growth and helping students achieve their highest potential. Beyond this renovation, we're proud to engage with KCIA through mentorship programs and various student activities. A HUGE thank you to Mid-America Contractors for their hard work and dedication to delivering this project by the start of the school year. We couldn't do it without you!

We held our first job fair in partnership with the Pro Deo Youth Center. Teenagers from the Pro Deo community had the invaluable opportunity to interview with several local businesses on the spot. Thank you to Neighbors Construction Company, Inc., Nickell Electric Company Inc., Grabill Plumbing Heating and Cooling, and Roy & Son Fencing for participating in our career fair. Your support is instrumental in shaping the future workforce and fostering meaningful connections within our community.

We were thrilled to collaborate with a dedicated teacher from KCIA to present brand-new bicycles to incoming 8th graders and participants in our mentorship initiative. For many of these students, who happen to be refugees and are new to the United States, this marks their very first experience with owning a bike. Witnessing the sheer joy and wonderment reflected in the beaming faces of these children was an absolute delight for our volunteers.

The NorthPoint Foundation is proud to support the budding athletes of Kansas City International Academy (KCIA) through our recent donation of specialty track shoes for their track team. Witnessing the sheer excitement and joy among the students as they received their new spike shoes was truly heartwarming.   Our partnership with KCIA reflects our commitment to supporting underserved communities and providing opportunities for youth to excel academically and athletically.
