How does a 17% increase in co-payment collections sound? One Midwestern multispecialty medical group on Oracle Health CommunityWorks achieved this by optimizing its appointment registration workflow and allowing patients to make their co-pay. When appointment reminders are sent, patients can use Apple Pay, Google Pay, HSA, FSA, or their preferred credit card to make co-payments before their visit. It's one less step for patients and staff to complete at the front desk. It might sound simple, but improving patient and staff experiences does not always require complex changes. 1. Start with a desired end state (reduce manual work for co-pay collection) 2. Align it with the right KPIs (increased upfront payment collections, reduced check-in time per patient) 3. News: Today we announced a new partnership with Beacon Health System, a locally owned and operated not-for-profit health care system serving more than 4,000 patients daily in northwest Indiana and southern Michigan. Beacon will deploy Notable’s AI platform to streamline the process of self-scheduling diagnostic procedures and tests for patients. More specifically, the organization will use the Notable platform to increase how often ordered procedures and tests are scheduled after an order is placed into its electronic health record. NEWS: Today we announced a new partnership with Sturdy Health, an independent, not-for-profit health system comprised of a 126-bed acute care hospital, 26 primary and specialty care medical offices, and an Urgent Care Center dedicated to providing a broad range of healthcare services to the residents of communities in Southeastern Massachusetts and neighboring Rhode Island. Sturdy Health will deploy Notable's AI platform to empower patients to independently navigate appointment scheduling, demographic and insurance verification, and pre-registration form completion as part of its digital front door initiative. One of the most common themes we continue to hear from health system leadership is that many vendor's say they can seamlessly integrate with the EHR, but this just isn't the case. Unfortunately for these hospitals and health systems this lack of integration just perpetuates the growing complexity of administrative and tech challenges for their organization. I recently spoke with a Patient Access Director who told me that if they add or update insurance coverage, it goes into a work queue for someone else to now manually touch.
