Unapologetically working to build generational wealth for Black and Brown people through the legal cannabis industry.
About us
NuProject invests cannabis tax and corporate revenue into cannabis businesses nationwide owned by historically excluded founders with a priority placed on Black, Indigenous and Latina/o/x founders, the communities most harmed by the failed War on Drugs. NuProject’s work is specifically designed to address the capital, connection and technical capability hurdles that historically excluded founders face when entering the cannabis industry. Since founding in 2018, NuProject has funded more than $2.3M via low-interest loans and grants to cannabis businesses across the U.S. owned by historically-excluded founders.
