NWIRC's Tara Lawrence and Erie County Community College (EC3)'s Tacie Thomas did a fantastic job talking about the Uniquely Abled Academy (UAA) this weekend on Erie News Now's The Insider. They both coordinate UAAs (in Meadville at Crawford Tech and Erie at EC3, respectively). UAA is a CNC training program for young adults with autism, or other neurodiversities, to step into manufacturing careers.
