Our Lady of the Lake Health was proud to co-host the Sports Emergency Care Course with our Championship Health Partners at Louisiana State University and Action Medicine Consultants LLC. The two-day, hands-on course helped prepare team physicians, athletic trainers, EMT, and other medical personnel for the emergency situations they could face during athletic events — making sports safer for our area athletes!

Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center has achieved a 20% reduction in sepsis mortality through IntelliSep, an AI-driven diagnostic tool researched and developed in partnership with the research team at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center and Cytovale. This tool improves emergency department efficiency and reduces healthcare costs and unnecessary procedures. A significant advancement in patient care. Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center recently implemented an extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) program to provide life support for patients with respiratory or heart failure.
