    Ever want to get data from another SaaS application into your Omeda database easily, automatically, and cheaply? 👨💻 Keep on reading below... It's Omeda recipe time again! 👨🍳 Though, really, this technique could be used to drive data to any webhook from a Google Sheet. Very very handy. Many applications out there have native Google Sheets integrations that cost zero dollars to use. Which is fantastic because a Google Sheet becomes a powerful data hub when combined with Google Apps Scripts (think VBA Macros in Excel). If you can get data to Google Sheets you can get it to an Omeda Webhook or any Webhook automatically. This is an extremely potent and powerful integration and it does NOT require any expensive middleware or iPaaS solution at all. That's the best part. 🚨 Geek Alert: Coding Ahead. Under 55 lines of code in a Google Apps Script and you've got it. Disclaimer: Of course, this is an EXAMPLE for informational purposes only and anything you do with this, you do at your own risk. You should check with your IT department to make sure you are allowed to do this. The script pictured here will copy any new rows added to a Google Sheet to a Webhook on a nightly basis. Yes, it's a little coding but it's simple, I promise. Let's go through the functions: resetLastCheckedRange(): Use this only as needed to reset the "last row processed" variable, which you may have to do during testing phases. You can modify this to a particular row number too, of course, this function simply obliterates the value. setupTrigger(): You use this one time to set up the recurring trigger in Google Apps Script. You can also create this manually so this is not required but a nice touch. sendNewEntries(): This is the function that the trigger will call nightly. It loops through the rows in your spreadsheet starting at the last row it processed. It stores that last row processed as a system constant for safe keeping. In this example we have 5 columns that we are converting to JSON and sending to our Webhook: Timestamp, FullName, Email, JobTitle, Company. You'd modify this to match your sheet. HOW did I do this? I had ChatGPT write the code for me. I believe this is one of the most powerful uses for ChatGPT these days. Here is the prompt I used, feel free to experiment on your own: "I have a Google sheet with the columns: Timestamp, Full Name,Email ,Job Title , Company. I'd like to create a google apps script that will check for new rows daily and send each new row as JSON in a call to a webhook, let's say that webhook URL is https://foo.com/webhook for now. Could you write that script for me?"

    Most media teams say they're investing in their audience, but about two-thirds of them don't have a formal, top-down audience development plan. That's a problem — but in order to address it, we need to understand what's stopping media teams from creating company-wide audience development plans. Some possible reasons include: ⭐ Each individual team is pursuing their own channel-specific audience growth goals at the expense of holistic audience development. ⭐ Everyone feels responsible for the audience — so audience development ideas often fail victim to death by committee. Or companies don't have a chief audience officer or another single stakeholder advocating for audience development. ⭐ Senior leadership may not full understand the work or challenges of audience development. ⭐ Companies may not have access to the cross-channel audience data they need to evaluate their current audience goals accurately, let alone build upon those goals. ⭐ They're overwhelmed by the task of managing millions of audience data points, a growing number of channels, and several verticals under one strategy.
