Ahead of the college football season, Texas quarterback Quinn Ewers signed on as the new face of Rhoback. Full terms of the NIL deal were not disclosed, but On3 learned it is valued between $100,000 to $150,000. "I am incredibly excited to be working with Rhoback as my official apparel sponsor and to become a leading face of their Rhoback U program," Ewers said in a statement. "It's exciting to see their presence really take off within the college athletics community. Their products are the most comfortable I have worn, and it’s been such a fun experience being able to create some awesome content with their team."   As part of the deal, Ewers can earn a commission for the sales he drives. The quarterback will also receive a substantial amount of gear. Ewers' agreement with the brand is even more valuable, as Rhoback is launching its licensed gameday collection. The company has secured licensing agreements with Arkansas, Alabama, LSU, Virginia Tech, Virginia, Ohio State and Texas.   Ewers has a $1.7 million On3 NIL Valuation, which is No. 5 in the college football NIL rankings. His valuation is No. 6 in the On3 NIL 100, the first of its kind and defacto NIL ranking of the top 100 high school and college athletes ranked by their valuation.

NCAA's Charlie Baker expects women's tournament revenue plan to pass The NCAA is closing in on a distribution fund, including units, for the women's basketball tournament. Tuesday, the D-I Board of Directors introduced a proposal that could take effect for 2025. NCAA President Charlie Baker later said he foresees no issues with getting final approval. "I'll be shocked if this thing has any issues at all gaining approval," Baker said. Under the proposal, the NCAA creates a Women's Basketball Equal Conference Fund and Women's Basketball Performance Fund, and a vote is expected in January during the NCAA Convention. Both funds would go into place in time for March Madness in 2025 and give the women's tournament a financial element similar to the men's side. Mr. FIU: Pitbull purchases naming rights to football stadium FIU and musical artist Pitbull have entered into a naming rights agreement for the team's football stadium. Pitbull is paying FIU $1.2 million per year over the next five years as a part of the agreement. With that, FIU's stadium will be called Pitbull Stadium. Throughout his career, Pitbull has been closely associated with South Florida and Miami, in particular. After all, it's the city where he was born and raised. Plus, he went to Miami's Coral Park High School. Because of that, the connection with FIU, a school located in Miami, seems relatively clear. What's more unique about the deal is that Pitbull is buying the naming rights for himself, rather than a business or company like most naming rights deals. FIU athletic director Scott Carr called the deal "historic" and "program changing."

BREAKING: NCAA slaps former Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh with four-year show-cause order for 'unethical conduct' An NCAA Division I Committee on Infractions panel has ruled on a case involving Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh, issuing a four-year show-cause order and a one-season suspension to the ex-Wolverines coach. The case is not related to the alleged sign-stealing investigation that is ongoing and for which the Wolverines expect to formally receive a Notice of Allegations soon. Instead, this case involves Michigan and five individuals who currently or previously worked for the football program who earlier reached an agreement with NCAA enforcement staff on violations concerning both recruiting and coaching activities by non-coaching staff members that occurred within the football program.
