Last week’s trip to the Shedd Aquarium was a splash-tacular success! The children from Bridgeport Early Learning Center had a day full of exploration from learning about sea lions and their environmental impact to a 4-D film screening about life in the sea for the great octopus. After lunch, they had an opportunity to touch the stingrays and learn more about all the great animals of the ocean! Thank you to all the amazing parents and teachers who helped make our Shedd Aquarium adventure unforgettable. The Florida Strike Team has had an incredible year, completing over 200 adoptions! Each member of our team has made a significant impact, and we'd like to highlight some special achievements: Most Adoptions Completed: Peyton Daniel with 34 adoptions Biggest Sibling Group: Rosasita Swift, adopting a group of 5 children Quickest Adoption from Termination of Parental Rights: Mashonda Rayner, with an adoption finalized in just 113 days Eldest Child Adopted: Laticia Speights, whose adoption was finalized on 5/22, just before their 18th birthday on 6/4 A total of 215 adoptions have been completed this fiscal year. We are so proud of our team and grateful for the support that makes these life-changing moments possible.
