Martin Richardson's Critical Large Diameter Optics for Mobile High Energy Laser Diagnostic Facility (HEL-DF) project has been awarded the CREOL's Optimax Research Grant! Martin notes, "The mobile HEL-DF is intended to introduce a new level of sophistication to the challenges of interrogating and characterizing high-energy lasers in the field." Given the challenges posed by rugged terrain, a stable environment is crucial. With the support of the $20,000 Optimax Grant, the project will utilize 12" optics to enhance the facility's capabilities for future HEL systems. Congratulations, Martin!🎉
