Last week was truly amazing for us at Ormat Technologies, Inc., as we had the privilege of hosting 17 teachers from Washoe County through the Nevada Mining Association's outreach program at our Steamboat Geothermal Plant in Reno, Nevada. We also welcomed guests from The Nature Conservancy, Colorado State University and the University of Pennsylvania! On June 20, 2024, we proudly hosted our Investor and Analyst Day at the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE). We showcased our premium energy solutions, robust growth capabilities, and improved profitability. The event, led by our CEO Doron Blachar, provided an opportunity to share our strategic roadmap. Doron emphasized that #Ormat is not only in tune with “industry needs but also with global demands for providing 24/7 zero-emission energy and essential storage solutions." At the event, our management team delivered comprehensive presentations that covered various aspects of our operations. Rising alongside Imperial Valley! Our annual "Rise Against Hunger" (RAH) event reaffirmed our commitment to "Sustain and Support" through community action and environmental stewardship. Rise Against Hunger is dedicated to eradicating hunger by providing food and life-changing aid to the world's most vulnerable populations. This year's RAH event in Imperial Valley brought our employees and volunteers together with a shared mission: to pack and distribute meals for those in need. Our Resource team recently participated in the "Indonesia Core Drilling Workshop”, where we had the privilege of sharing Ormat's successful core well drilling strategy and techniques in the U.S. with participants in the Indonesia geothermal industry. The event was organized by Jacobs under a New Zealand Aid Program and was held as a hybrid, with remote connections and in-person attendance, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment. A big thanks to Ryan Libbey, Chief Geologist; Joshua Gossanyi, PE, Senior Drilling Engineer; CJ Triola, Director of Drilling Engineering; and Robin Zuza, Director of Global Exploration, for representing Ormat and contributing to Indonesia's geothermal energy potential.
