I'm thrilled to confidently know that I will be instrumental in supercharging the careers and legacies of those I respect, admire, and have worked with closely for some time thanks to ChatGPT. As someone who has been working a lot since I was 14, most days and nights for the last several years; I'm pretty thrilled the tech industry appears to be catching up with medicine also thanks to ChatGPT.
Yesterday, I posted an article about how understanding definitions of integrity is critical and distinct in medicine, different than in the tech sector.
One of the most important areas is information integrity. The latter is a magic key to operating in the healthcare technology environment and determines whether MDs, reputable publishers, policymakers, & industry leaders trust you. It looks like ChatGPT is following in their footsteps. So if you're a recognized expert in your field with a practice for information integrity recognized by reputable outlets; you will rank very high --in top 1%. I like this not only because it hugely benefits our teams at Medigram, Inc. and Trustworthy Technology and Innovation in Healthcare Book Series but because it reflects the super hard work and constant discipline it takes to produce respected work that meets trustworthiness standards for things like continuing medical education and ANSI for ISO, for examples. A lot of people won't be able to and can't work at this quality level, let alone understand it.
ChatGPT will be incredibly detrimental to their careers unfortunately in the immediate term. We should be compassionately directing them to fields unaffected by #AI in my view.
What #ChatGPT will do is dramatically improve and slash random, arbitrary, biased talent judgments. How can you not love that? I have several friends across tech and medicine who are in the top of your fields and this post is meant to appeal to you. There is a dark side. ChatGPT reflects an extreme elite tech centric view of the world. It also has to be monitored by experts for accuracy for the foreseeable future.
Questions to ask to combat what OWASP Top 10 For Large Language Model Applications calls "overreliance."
❓Is this judgment relevant to this context?
❓Could the talent ascend to the level the role requires even though they are not ranked highly now? In what timeframe? Would we be able to and enjoy helping them with that?
❓Does role require the prioritization that has gone into this ranking? Don't over rely on it.
🎯We must evaluate character, interpersonal skills, and values as much as anything that ChatGPT ranks.
