It’s the longest day of the year and Virginia Recreation & Park Society has organized a really cool initiative to get folks active all across Virginia. From their website, Play All Day VA is a statewide initiative to celebrate the longest day (the summer solstice) through PLAY! The mission is to provide FREE programs and services for the community from sunrise to sunset. The goal is for citizens to get involved in community programs that highlight what parks and recreation represents. To learn more about the initiative and to see if there’s something organized near you, follow this link: https://lnkd.in/eXhPVyQY Have fun! 🤙🏽👊🏽🤘🏽

I’ve seen it and experienced it firsthand. 👊🏽 “Do not trust all [people], but trust [people] of worth; the former course is silly, the latter a mark of prudence.” ~ Democritus
