At Pace, we're dedicated to making mental healthcare resources accessible for all girls. Our Pace Reach Program extends our support beyond the walls of Pace, reaching into the broader community through outreach and partnerships. By providing access to therapists, we meet girls and their families where they are, whether in the community or at their local school. #GreatInEveryGirl #MentalHealthForAll #BIPOCMentalHealthAwareness

Yesterday, we celebrated Women in Engineering Day. At Pace, we are committed to helping close the gender gap in STEM. Our holistic model involves mentoring, life-skills coaching, and supporting girls in exploring career and college readiness. Pace empowers every girl to find and use her voice to create a positive impact in her community and in the world. Today we recognize Juneteenth, a date in 1865 which marked the end to slavery in the United States, two years after the issuing of the Emancipation Proclamation. On June 17, 2021, it became an official federal holiday. #GreatInEveryGirl #Juneteenth

We recognize the critical importance of reaching girls in middle school to provide comprehensive, year-round mental health services. Girls today are growing up in an environment significantly different from that of previous generations. The rise of social media, increased academic pressure, and evolving social norms contribute to a complex mental health landscape. We spoke with A’laysia, a seventh grader in the Pace Reach Program in Marion County, South Carolina, as she was getting ready for her middle school dance. Read the interview below. #GreatInEveryGirl #MentalHealthMatters

At Pace Center for Girls in Pasco County, our girls are diving deep into environmental education and exploring ways to positively impact future generations. Wendy, a Pace Science Teacher, highlights the importance of teen advocacy: “It’s crucial for young people to understand their power in enacting change. When they are informed and passionate, they can inspire others to take action.” #GreatInEveryGirl #WomenInSTEM

We recognize that success comes in many forms, and we take immense pride in celebrating the diverse achievements of our girls. Whether they choose to pursue higher education, enroll in trade schools, or enter the workforce, each girl's journey is a testament to her resilience, dedication, and hard work. We are thrilled to highlight Bella, a Pace Lee graduate, who plans to pursue a career in welding at Fort Myers Technical College. According to the American Welding Society, there are expected to be over 400,000 job openings nationally in the welding industry by 2025. Currently, women constitute only 5% of the workforce. Join us in celebrating Bella's achievements and the impact she will make as an inspiration for future generations: https://lnkd.in/e8ZVnyGQ #WomenInWelding #GreatInEveryGirl
