Some days are more challenging than others. This one stayed out of the rough. Denise Ryser and Dradin Kreft spent the day in Auburn on some very soggy greens for the Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance 2024 Golf Tournament. Dradin played on a four-person scramble with some familiar faces including Moss Adams's Ben Sappington, Rosemary Brester from Hobart Machined Products Inc, and speaker Rex Ayers. PNDC hosted a Congressional Roundtable with Congressman Adam Smith and his District Representative Andrew Hays at the Pacific Northwest Mission Acceleration Center office in Seattle. Members were invited to discuss the state of defense business with Congressman Smith and heard his thoughts on how to move forward to create a more robust, secure, and streamlined defense ecosystem. The Pacific Northwest Aerospace Alliance (PNAA) hosted their Oregon AeroConnect last night at the Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum in McMinnville, Oregon. It was an evening to catch up with old friends and make some new in an amazing setting. There are not many opportunities to sit in a SR-71 Blackbird and Dradin Kreft did not pass this one up. He enjoyed connecting with local businesses and learning about the wide variety of work they are doing in the Willamette Valley. Dradin Kreft headed to Salem today to join Senator Merkley’s staff, Ausan Al-Eryani and Iris Godfrey for Oregon National Guard updates and a Wildfire Briefing. They were joined by LTC Michael Hernandez and hosted by Russell Gibson.   Brigadier General Alan Gronewold (center), Brigadier General Jenifer Pardy (right) and Sean McCormick (far left) shared insight to the work that the Oregon National Guard does for the state and our nation. The Wildfire Briefing was an in depth showing of capabilities, current operations, and planning for future operations to continue protecting Oregonians from wildfire.

Dradin Kreft was invited to tour Vigor, LLC’s Portland shipyard with Senator Jeff Merkley's staff including Ausan Al-Eryani and Iris Godfrey on Tuesday. Thank you to Russell Gibson from the Oregon Military Department (Oregon National Guard) and LTC Michael Hernandez, Army Legislative liaison (not pictured) for the invitation and a special thanks to our hosts Benton Strong and Derrick Cherico with Vigor for their hospitality. Did you know?
