🧠🌟 July is BIPOC Mental Health Month 🌟🧠 This month emphasizes the distinct mental health challenges faced by Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC). Acknowledging and respecting these experiences is crucial for fostering understanding and support within our communities. In recognition of BIPOC Mental Health Month, we highlight resources available in Utah. The Utah Center for Evidence-Based Treatment offers a comprehensive list of BIPOC mental health resources. Park City Community Foundation is creating an enduring philanthropic community to benefit all the people of Park City.
About us
Inspiring local and lasting change. Together. Park City Community Foundation plays a vital role in solving our community’s most challenging problems. By constantly identifying gaps and issues within our community, we have a keen understanding of Park City’s most pressing needs. To address these issues and fund solutions, we bring together local nonprofits, caring donors and community leaders to contribute both financial resources and innovative ideas that effect lasting change. In addition to building permanent philanthropic endowments for our region, Park City Community Foundation enables donors to establish their own charitable funds and contribute a variety of assets to them, so they can support the specific issues and organizations they care about. And because the Community Foundation is intimately knowledgeable about the nonprofit activities of our community, we’re able to advise donors on the specific organizations that are doing the most meaningful, high-impact work. At the same time, we’re continuously serving as advisors to and advocates for the full range of local nonprofits, so that every organization can be strengthened for the greater good of the community.

Park City High School student Isabella Escobar and her uncle created this design for Youth United's T-Shirt Contest! 🏆️👕 Isabella has been in Youth United programs since she was a little kid, as her mom would enroll her in summer camp programs the initiative made accessible to them. She’s also volunteered at and translated for some of Youth United’s events too. 💞 “The events put on by Youth United has helped me find new opportunities for my younger sister and connect with different people in the community,” Isabella said. Lots of people rocked the new t-shirts at the Fourth of July Parade while walking with Park City Community Foundation. 🙌🏽 ✨️ 🔗 Read more here: https://lnkd.in/ezFdnaTS

🎓🌟 Congratulations to Jessica on her high school graduation! For the past three years, Jessica has been an invaluable intern at Park City Community Foundation, where she shadowed various office roles, performed clerical duties, translated marketing materials into Spanish, and supported community events. Jessica is proud of her friendships and connections in high school, finding a strong support system that motivated her. A highlight of her internship was attending the Solomon Fund (now Youth United) events, where she saw firsthand the impact of our work on families and kids. Starting as a volunteer and evolving into an intern, she loved helping by translating, handing out flyers, and witnessing the collective effort of staff, donors, and the community. This fall, Jessica will attend the University of Utah, exploring majors in Business, International Studies, and Computer Science. She plans to stay involved in her community and continue making a positive impact. Jessica, your passion, work ethic, and dedication have been truly inspiring. Thank you for everything, and best of luck at the University of Utah! 🌟📚 #Congratulations #ThankYou
