I agree with Paul Wilder's comment on the Carequality news, and also, “look forward to subsequent rounds of trust building where we open up to new entrants to evolve how we deliver care and help the population live healthy lives collectively.” Today it’s too easy for the biggest companies to throw their weight around and prevent competition. As an industry, if we want to achieve the vision of the 21st Century Cures Act we need consistent standards that compel all actors in the system to operate in a best faith effort and with open communication. I’m looking forward to working with our peers across the industry to continue creating better products and services for providers and their patients.
A crucial moment for health data interoperability. Carequality will thoughtfully align with TEFCA to support fully connected health IT networks for better care. Read more about this announcement: https://lnkd.in/eB2n-CSi

This morning we formally announced a partnership with Yuvo Health. We will be giving Yuvo's provider-partners a full picture of each patient's health, providing context from previous care encounters and generating actionable insights. The collaboration will allow for faster and fully informed patient care, reducing the risk for patient readmissions. It’s inspiring to be able to support Yuvo Health and their affiliated providers to help provide equitable, value-based care to hundreds of thousands of patients. ❗ 1 in 4 patients has an open care gap; that's a recommended healthcare action that goes unaddressed. Relying on a single-provider EHR system creates silos, hindering collaboration between providers and making it tough to spot these critical gaps in care. Learn how comprehensive clinical data on your patients can help! 🔗 https://lnkd.in/g_REU8pm #valuebasedcare #caregaps #qualitymeasures #interoperability #healthcaredata

We are responding today to inaccurate and incomplete announcements and reporting regarding Particle Health's connection to Epic. Epic has implied it completely disconnected Particle Health and its customers from Epic’s data. This is not true. In fact, the vast majority of Particle Health customers have continued to actively receive data from Epic, without interruption, for use in their important work supporting providers in the treatment of patients.

Particle has been building alongside many great interoperability champions for 8 years now. We have played meaningful roles in working groups and standards bodies and have operated transparently since inception – and we will continue to do so. Please see our public statement about the details around the disruption on Carequality.
