What a way to end the week! We had a joint Junior Achievement event with OSU Phi Chi Theta (PCT) business fraternity. Today we were able to connect with between 200 - 230 students. Ten classrooms in all. We had 10 BOA associates and 15 OSU PCT students. The TEAM did a great job of connecting and making it fun to learn the principals of business for the first and second grade students at Avondale Elementary. Also, we taught third, fourth, and fifth grade at Starling Elementary. The energy and enthusiasm were impressive. Thank you to PCT for letting us be a part of your Spring Service Event for 2024! Thank you all for you your commitment to giving back and paying it forward. Sincerely Rich

In light of Black History Month, this monday evening, myself and the other Diversity, Equity & Inclusion representatives from PGN, PSE, DSP, and GIS hosted an event to highlight black excellence in the professional environment. We had several panelists from a variety of different networks (Bank of America, Worthington Enterprises, Abbott, The Ohio State University and more!) They came and spoke about their lived experiences and the importance of representation in business. The event was educational, informative, and inspiring. With food from Willowbeez Soulveg (local to Columbus) and several black artists from campus to celebrate this months theme of the arts, it made for a truly enriching experience. Finally, I would like to thank our speakers: Melissa S. Shivers, PhD, Aja Bland Chantel Morgan, MBA, PMP Adrian Sullivan Josephine Severe, Ethan Adams and Ken Coleman it was inspirational listening to each of your stories that places you where you are now. Speaking for everyone who attended, I know we will use this information in all of our future endeavors business or non-business.
