You might have noticed our page looks a little different. That's because last week we unveiled our new global corporate logo, which combines the Penguin Random House wordmark with the Penguin logo. While our corporate logo is evolving, our name is not changing. We are Penguin Random House! As the Penguin logo nears 90 years of literary renown, there's no better time to dive into its history. It all starts in 1935, with a 21-year-old visiting a London Zoo (read more here!). And tell us your memories of the Penguin logo in the comments! We'd love to know how the Penguin is part of your story.

We were thrilled to celebrate Pride Month at Housing Works Bookstore a few weeks ago with the launch party for this year’s Pride in Your Words Zine! The third edition of our annual zine, created in partnership with the PRH LGBTQ+ Network, features excerpts from queer authors, spotlights on queer book clubs and banned books, an LGBTQ+ reading list, and more. Each zine also comes with an exclusive sticker set celebrating queer stories, commissioned from artists at the queer-owned and -operated High Hopes Tattoo. Attendees at the event were able to pick up free copies of the zine and stickers, make their own zines at our zine-making station, and get a free (real!) tattoo from the artists of High Hopes Tattoo. You can download a free digital copy of the zine and sticker sheet, plus find hundreds of LGBTQ+ book recommendations for Pride Month and year-round at PRH.com/PrideReads! #Pride
