Starting July 1, 2024, the minimum hourly wage in Montgomery County will increase as follows: 💼 1–10 employees: $15 💼 11–50 employees: $15.50 💼 51 or more employees: $17.15 💼 11 or more employees (tax-exempt under § 501(c)(3)): $15.50 💼 11 or more employees (providing home health or community-based services with 75% revenue from Medicaid): $15.50 Remember, the minimum base wage for tipped employees remains $4 per hour.     Which letter did you pick?? The correct answer is B. Employers must disclose the wage range, benefits, and any other compensation offered in the job postings. Starting October 1, 2024, Maryland employers must include wage ranges and benefit information in all job postings. This new requirement is part of the state's effort to increase pay transparency and promote fair compensation practices. The law applies to all employers, REGARDLESS OF SIZE, and covers BOTH internal and external job postings. Employers must disclose the minimum and maximum salary or hourly rate, along with a general description of benefits and any other compensation offered for the position.
