We are excited about our new partnership with St. Charles Community Unit School District 303 this summer! At the Haines Center, we renovated an unused wing that will house the district's Early Childhood Center. We removed and replaced an existing wing and storefront and upgraded the district bus parking lot. Wishing all the students a great year in the new facilities! #PepperK-12 #schoolconstruction

More back to school highlights! When we began renovations in 2020, we were ready for the challenge of a multi-year renovation at the three campuses of MAINE TOWNSHIP HS DIST 207. Not only did we deliver the original scope on schedule, we also delivered additional improvements on all three campuses. Walking into any of the schools now feels like entering a new building – the spaces are almost unrecognizable! Read and watch more about this project in Pepper's 2023 Annual Review! https://lnkd.in/gM-nJfGc #PepperK-12

At Pepper, we often focus on the potential to transform tomorrow in the communities we serve. Every opportunity to do so begins with our people. We are honored to share the impact of the Teaching Helping Teachers Foundation, which our Ohio President Paul Francois supports. The foundation activates the mission of Teresa Francois, who envisioned the fund for classrooms prior to her passing last summer. Ahead of the kick-off to the 2024 school year, Teachers Helping Teachers has now tallied over $30,000 in contributions to help supply the classrooms at Davis Middle School. Thank you to WBNS-TV and Spectrum News for covering this tremendous organization. https://lnkd.in/ghU9MeN6 https://lnkd.in/gTqannTe

It was a busy summer for the K-12 teams at Pepper. At Flossmoor School District 161, the iconic bell tower at Western Avenue Elementary School underwent significant renovations to restore its historic appeal and ensure its structural integrity for years. The scope of the work involved demolition of the old brickwork, installation of new, high-quality bricks that match the original design while providing enhanced durability. New lintels were fitted to reinforce the structure and improve safety. The limestone elements of the bell tower, which have been weathered and stained, received a cleaning to restore their original detail. This renovation project not only preserves the architectural beauty of the bell tower but also maintains its role as a symbol of Western Avenue Elementary School. #PepperK-12
