I’ll be in Chicago this week for #NABJ and wanted to share one of my favorite Pew Research Center reports that takes a deep dive into Black Americans’ views about the news industry. You’ll find data on Black Americans’ views on how the press reports on Black people, newsroom diversity and what they think could help improve news coverage: https://lnkd.in/dRQFwGsd

Pew Research Center's surveys on guns and gun policy reveal what many Americans already know -- the subject is highly divisive. About a third of U.S. adults say they personally own a gun, and many gun owners say they feel safer having a firearm in their home. At the same time, majorities of Americans say it is too easy to get a gun in the U.S. and that they prefer stricter gun laws. I pulled together a snapshot of what our surveys tell us about Americans’ views of gun ownership and gun policy. #guns #gunpolicy #surveys
