The US Energy Information Administration reported this week that the United States' refinery capacity has increased 2% in 2023. The US Energy Information Association reported this week that Annual US biodiesel imports doubled from 2022 to 2023. Due to policies related to the EU's Renewable Energy Directive, importing biodiesel from overseas has been very economically attractive. The US Energy Information Administration released a report today showing that the United States exported an average of 6.1 million barrels per day in 2023, which was a 2.5% increase from the prior year. A study conducted by Clean Freight Coalition research shows that the cost to transition the entire US commercial trucking fleet could cost nearly $1 trillion. Emission Analytics 2022 study that resurfaced this week shows EVs release 1,850 times more particle pollution compared to modern tailpipes on gas powered cars.
