Yesterday, we invited Market Square merchants and stakeholders to engage in an open discussion about ongoing efforts to enhance Market Square and support businesses in this cultural and economic hub in Downtown. Representatives from Field Operations were on hand to provide an update on the redevelopment plans, and gather input from businesses. Earlier in the day, visitors at the Farmers Market also had an opportunity to share what they think about Market Square and what would improve their experience in this public space. We’re grateful to everyone who contributed their insights and perspectives, and a special thank you to Field Operations, Allegheny Conference on Community Development, and Highwoods Properties for hosting us in beautiful PPG Place. We look forward to continuing to have these conversations and engaging the larger Downtown community in this exciting work.
