Planned Parenthood of North Florida has been providing high-quality and affordable reproductive health care for women, men and teens for more than 35 years. Our three health centers in Gainesville, Jacksonville and Tallahassee provide services to thousands of Floridians in North Florida every year. Our approach to health care is based on respect for each individual’s right to make informed and independent decisions about reproduction, health and family planning. Based on these beliefs, our mission is: To provide comprehensive reproductive and complementary health care services in settings which preserve and protect the essential privacy and rights of each individual; To advocate for public policies which guarantee these rights and ensure access to reproductive health care services; To provide educational programs which enhance the understanding of individual and societal implications of human sexuality; To promote research and the advancement of technology in reproductive health care and encourage understanding of theirinherent bioethical, behavioral and social implications.
